Maulidur Rasul & Thaipusam Holiday

This year, Muslims are celebrating Maulidur Rasul on Monday and Hindus on Tuesday for Thaipusam. So, that makes the office closed for 4 consecutive days from Saturday to Sunday :)
As Mr Husband's cousin wedding is on Saturday, we went back to hometown on Friday night. Luckily the traffic was ok.. It was so smooth that we are able to reach Kuala Kangsar for 3 hours as normal drive..
The next morning, we head straight to rumah pengantin at Tg Rambutan, Ipoh..

Ni lauk kenduri.. Ok ok...Boleh di makan.. But forgot to snap pengantin punya pix! Bleh tak camtu? Haha... 

Mr Husband with his nephew.. He is going to be 5 this year... Baru masuk tadika... He looks big right? As if dah standard 2 or 3...But hell no... Baru 5 yrs old... Muhammad Adli Syahmi namanya and the birthdate is same as mine! Haha.. So the parents...its a warning...better watch out.. He is going to be stubborn se stubborn stubornnyerrr... :p

Later in the evening we had Laksa Kuala... Sodappp di makan sementara tengah panas..

And ikan bakar at night... Bakar sendiri ni... Ikan pari, kembung and kerisi...

Cicah2... Memang kawww even though the recipe was so simple!

The next day, we went back to Penang to meet ibu and my relatives at Penang..

While waiting for ibu to reach home (since dia keluar gi akad nikah my cousin), we had our time at Queensbay Mall Penang...

Ni masa bawak budak2 kecik ni gi pantai pulau betong... just 10 mins from my kampung.. Pantai ni lah one of the pantai yang kena tsunami back then...

Ada gaya bapak mithali tak? :p ke lebih kepada nampak macam tengah berebut ngan dorg? haha..

End of holiday....Tapi this week will go back to Penang again for my cousin's wedding pulak...Can't wait!! :D

Federal Day

This was what I cooked last night for dinner. Fried spagethi. Lepas tu tak kenyang lagi tu.

Since 1st Feb is cuti Hari Wilayah, Mr Husband ajak kuwa gi minum (makan sekali lah actually haha).

He is not a type of man yang selalu keluar malam gi minum lepak ngan kawan.

Thank God I found him sebab I pun tak prefer that type of man.

Taktaulah macam mana kalau dapat husband macam tu, mesti hari2 gaduh. Huhuhu.

This is what we had pada jam 1 pagi. Haha..There goes my diet...

So now I am cooking porridge + oat.. Masak lebih for tomorrow morning sekali.

So breakfast tomorrow we'll eat bubur.

Zuriat

Zuriat... Who does not want a zuriat... Semua orang pasti nak.. Kalau yang taknak kahwin sekalipun, pasti inginkan zuriat sendiri... Kata orang, anak adalah permata rumahtangga.. Yang akan menceriakan hari2 seorang ibu bapa... Penat balik kerja bila tengok wajah anak, dukung anak, pasti akan lega.. Gembira.. Bahagia.. Mesti semua masalah kat office dapat dilupakan bila tatap wajah anak.. Who does not want a child? Cuma semuanya bergantung pada ketentuan Allah.. Allah Maha Memberi.. Allah juga Maha Mengetahui segalanya.. Apa yang terbaik utk hamba2Nya...


Today, I received an email from one of my best friend...About zuriat...Though she might not be seen as my best friend as we seldom meet, but I can say that she is my best friend sebab dia lah satu2nya sahabat for me to bercerita dengan panjang lebar when it comes to baby. We always emailing each other and sometimes we keep in touch via phone. Nasihat2 dia mostly are based on fact dan dia selalu bagi nasihat which will calm me at times. She will scold me if she hears anything which is not suppose to be said. She is married with one child, so I would say that she is the best person for me to luahkan apa2 sahaja yang terbuku dalam hati ni..

One of her say which touched me today..."Hanya Allah saja yang mampu bantu kita... I doakan u selalu.. I faham bila dah kawen ni, anak mmg pengikat kasih syg..Tp rezki tu tak semestinya sama utk semua org.. So mungkin ini yg dah tertulis utk u.. So mmg kene usaha lebey dan lain dr org lain...Insyaallah Allah tlg u.. Kalo kita doa slama ni lepas solat je....Mungkin Allah nak kita doa lebey lagi dr tu...Benefit nye pon utk kita jugak..Kita lg dekat dgn Allah...Percaya dan yakin tu jer.. Dun worry ok dear... Tabah ok!!!"


Sahabat, walaupun kita jarang jumpa, tapi you selalu ada whenever I need you...Thanks for being my friend, thanks selalu nasihatkan I and thanks for your concern..I will always pray for your happiness.. Semoga Allah pelihara keluarga you dan sentiasa bahagia disisi suami dan anak you.. Ameen...

A day before ibu went back

The day before ibu went back to Penang, we brought her to Al Rawsha Restaurant.

It is an Arab restaurant with all the Arab foods of course. The restaurant is located at Bulatan Kampung Pandan. We have been there when we had reunion with my xschoolmate. So this is our second time. 

I ordered Lamb Mandy. Ibu too. The portion was really big. For those who is not big eater, pls do not order this for yourself alone. Tak habis nanti! I pass half of the rice to Mr Husband together with half of the lamb. The rice was fantastic! Memang sedap gile laaahh! Boleh makan tanpa kuah, since the rice itself was already tasty! Tengok nasi dia tu, panjang2 kan?

Chicken Mandy. Mr Husband had this. Its half of the chicken ya! Memang puas hati!

Napoleon juice. Nice! Its a mixture of pineapple & strawberry.

Late in the evening, we went to Ice Room, Kota Damansara..

Teringin nak makan ice cream pulak, though we were still full with Al Rawsha food! Haha..

Overall, the taste was all so so lah I can say. The ice cream was not so rich macam yang kita makan kat Baskin Robbin or any other restaurant laa. Tapi reasonable laa with the price.

Ibu dah balik Penang this afternoon. We'll see u again ibu this weekend since we are going back to kampung again this two consecutive weekends! Wedding wedding and wedding again... If I were to tell this to my relatives, the feedback I will get is :-

"Hey, kitorang kena pergi 3 tempat tau for your wedding" hahaha....



Mee & Kueteau Kuah

Today's dinner was cooked by ibu since she is still at my home...

The menu was special ordered by me of course! hehe.. knowing that her mee kuah is the best!!

And it was as expected! No dissapointment at all! The best!

Steamboat with ibu

Tonight we had steamboat since ibu ada kat rumah...
My mr husband pun dah kempunan nak makan steamboat..
The last time we had steamboat at home was last month rasanya..
Kalau makan kat luar sure dah touch RM hundred kan if for 3...The one that 'all you can eat'..
Lagipun sure membazir because steamboat ni we can easily get full because the balls balls are made from tepung kan...

CNY holiday

Last Friday nite, we all dikejutkan dgn berita Abah masuk hospital again..

This time is not because of his high blood pressure, tapi sebab dia gi makan kat one of the gerai dekat umah, so suspected kena kencing tikus. The volume is not that much, tapi still kena jangkitan kuman dalam darah...

I quickly ajak mr husband balik sebab that evening I heard in HotFM, Izwan Pilus meninggal dunia sebab jangkitan kuman dalam darah and also kencing tikus! that makes us so scary......

We both balik Kuala Kangsar on Saturday afternoon. Although Abah had been discharged from the hospital, but we still think that we should pay him a visit.. We had to missed my exschool-mate wedding in Kuantan that day... But, I promise to pass her wedding gift once we meet some other time in the future.. Family is much more important kan.... Whatever it is, family comes first...

It was a badddddddddddd traffic that day! Memang dah agak pun since CNY holiday kan.. Its a 4 days holiday... Everyone pun nak balik kampung lah kan... So we decided to use jalan lama instead of using highway... We stop quite few places to eat, pray, toilet, and this is one of my fav stop... Hehe...

Alhamdulillah abah is getting better... Cuma dia masih degil takmau jaga makan... He eats like he is all well when he should be more preserve with what he eat... Cakap anak2 memang takmau di dengar langsung.. Now I know where mr husband gets his stubbornness from. Hehh..

It was RM104. Gile...Mahal tak? Guess sebab ikan bakar tadi dah rm35... Air lagi, nasi lagi...

But still................Ridiculous! Tak masuk akal lah!

We went back to KL yesterday (monday), after lunch..

Lepas makan sup ayam kampung and ikan talapia goreng cooked by Fara (forgot to snap those pic), we headed to Cameron :)) it was a bad traffic as well.... CNY kan... Semua jalan pun jem lah!

Yang nak raya, cuti... Yang tak raya pun gi berjalan kan...

This morning, while mr husband vacuuming &mopping the whole house, including every single of the corner,

I did laundry and cooking.. Which is our routine every weekend.. :)

Cantik tak? Meriah kan the colour? Mr Husband bought himself a new towel from Aussino the other day, so I pau one quilt cover hehehe.... U jugak nak tido kan... Tq dear ! :p
